IN 1993, a group of parents banded together
to establish a PAREF school right in the heart of Quezon City. They
adopted the name Northridge. On its second year, Northridge offered
pre-school education for both boys and girls as well as Prep and
Grade 1 levels for boys.
The need for a more focused approach and academic
expansion brought about a change in the school's structure and its
name. Thus the following year, Rosefield, a coed pre-school was
born and Northfield, an exclusive elementary school for boys was
conceived.
Rosefield's first home was at Mother Ignacia
St. immediately fronting the ABS - CBN complex. The school had its
humble beginnings with a population of 54 students only. In April
of 1998, Rosefield transferred to its present site at 102 Scout
Fuentebella Street, Kamuning Quezon City.
Rosefield today has doubled its enrollment to
108 children from a base of 90 families. Its present staff is a
professional team of 4 teachers, 1 coordinator, 3 teacher aides,3
management personnel and 2 management staff.
Encouraged by the success of the past eight
years and inspiring feedback from the parents, Rosefield sets its
sight towards a permanent home. This site is envisioned to be truly
designed for an academic institution complete with facilities appropriate
for a continuously growing student populace.
